The agriturismo Fighezia rises in the countryside of Fluminimaggiore (Province of Carbonia – Iglesias) at only 5 km from the sea (beach of Portixeddu), along the west-southern coast of Sardinia, between the inner zone and the coast of Buggerru, at about 100 metres a.s.l.
Open in the 2001, the farm holiday offers hospitality in 6 wide bedrooms with en-suite bathroom (double/triple/quadruple) and a small apartment of about 30 square metres. The bedrooms are sites in 2 different edifices, at 50 metres to each other. The first edifice, with 2 wide double/quadruple bedrooms, offer an open space to wash clothes, with washing-sink, shower and washing-machine (3,00 euro per washing); the second edifice has 4 wide double/triple/quadruple bedrooms.
The small apartment, at about 100 metres from the main building, has an entrance, kitchen with gas-cooker and davenport (double bed), 1 double bedroom and bathroom; the apartment has a private garden with barbecue and share an external shower and washing-sink.
Bedrooms and apartment, recent building, are build with bio-industry standards, with raw bricks (ladiri) and reeds, used to build roofs.
Also, the agriturismo offers a sojourn in caravan with 2/3/4 beds with a private bathroom (with shower, at 30 metres from the caravan).
The restaurant, where guests can taste typical and biological dishes, has 40 covers and faces on a glass veranda of 40 square metres, open during the warm season.
The farm holiday is a biological management: main activities are to grow fruit and vegetable, bee-keeping and to breed animals.
The agriturismo propose many didactics laboratory, suitable for group of adults (minimum 8 and maximum 12 people) and for students, like: cookery laboratory (Sardinian and Italian traditional gastronomy), Bio-industry (even the technique to make the su Ladiri, typical Sardinian raw brick, made with mud and straw), bee-keeping , organic agriculture, wood laboratory (making and restoring), skins laboratory (leather processing to make traditional handicraft), spontaneous grasses laboratory (recognition and utilization), cutlery laboratory, primitive ceramics laboratory, dye-house grasses laboratory (making woven with traditional loom and dyeing with colour extracted from grasses, roots and flowers), paper recycling and papermaking technique.
Small pets are allowed. To reach the agriturismo there are 500 metres of not asphalted road.
